Supercharger systems

Gain 150+ hp
by adding a supercharger.

Superchargers are a premium power-adder and with the right one you can easily gain at least 100 horsepower — significantly more with a smaller pulley, headers, an E85 conversion, or lots of other options we’d be happy to talk through with you.

Tuned for maximum power and torque

After your supercharger is installed, we tune your vehicle to make the most out of its new power-adder. All of our tuning is done in-house on our Mustang Dyno, which gives the most accurate dyno numbers in the industry.

Before and after dyno testing

We do a baseline dyno pull before your supercharger install as well as after so that you can see for yourself just how much power your vehicle gained.

What is a supercharger?

A supercharger essentially provides more air for your motor — boost. Each pound of boost the supercharger puts into the motor is more horsepower. How that boost is delivered is where the different styles come into play.

Centrifugal

Procharger & Paxton

Amazing for daily driving. Centrifugal superchargers look like a turbo and act like a turbo, but are belt-driven by the crankshaft. They don’t create as much heat as roots blowers — and Houston weather isn’t very “roots blower friendly” — so they stay cool and make more power. Not a lot of low-end torque, but they scream on the top end.

Roots / twin-screw

Whipple & VMP

Twin screws driven by a small pulley — the smaller the pulley, the more boost. Huge low-end torque, great for getting out of the hole at the drag strip, but they heat-soak easily and die off up top. Highway driving is fine; back-to-back pulls aren’t. Our chill boxes solve the heat soak — keep it iced and the blower stays cool. When you push the pedal to the metal, be ready to break the tires loose.
