Kenny, the founder of Bumbera’s Performance, has been in the hot rod industry for over 50 years. He grew up in the prime of muscle cars in Houston — back then he was the young kid cruising down Westheimer in his yellow Mustang. Now Bumbera is the name associated with horsepower and some of the fastest builds in the country.

Upon visiting our location in Sealy, TX you’ll find over 27,000 square feet of muscle car heaven across three buildings. In the main shop we have 10 lifts, a fabrication area and our dyno room. Paint and body has its own dedicated building, with a full-size paint booth ready to transform your project.
We moved west from Houston to Sealy in April 2019 to get the room to do this right — the story’s in Shop Talk.

World's Fastest NA S550 Mustang
There's a new record holder on the block. After 4 months of late nights and long weekends, the 2020 S550 driven by Boyd Bumbera and built by Bumbera's Performance in Sealy, TX now holds the record for the World's Fastest Naturally Aspirated Gen 3 Coyote S550 Mustang. The record was previously held by Steeda, a leading manufacturer of Mustang parts.

Why Did We Move?
Around this time last year, we announced that we’d be moving from our location in Katy, TX to a brand new facility 15 minutes west near Sealy. We decided to make the move because, by the grace of God and lots of wonderful customers, we had outgrown our shop in Katy.
