Restomod
builds.
When modern technology meets a classic car, a restomod is born. From LS swaps to Hellcat and Coyote swaps, we’re no stranger to mixing the old with the new.
If you can dream it,
we can build it.
We’ve built award-winning Hellcat swaps, Coyote swaps and Hemi swaps — including one of the first true Hellcat swaps: complete engine, transmission, SRT dash, paddle shifters, remote start and ice-cold A/C inside a 1969 Charger. Everything in the car, and everything works.
What is a restomod?
A restomod is a modified restoration. There’s no one way to do it — it can literally be any version of a classic car you want to create. Restomod Mustangs are super popular because of Eleanor, the 1967 GT500 reimagined for Gone in 60 Seconds: still clearly a ’67, but with far more flare and attitude. Many customers add modern conveniences — power steering, EFI, air conditioning. Whatever you desire, we’re here to make it happen.
How much does a restomod cost?
The cost varies as wildly as the cars themselves. It depends on the condition of the car when you start and how far you want to take it. A running car made streetable with an LS swap and new wheels and tires is far cheaper than a frame-off build with custom interior and new paint. You can spend anywhere from $20,000 to $250,000 and beyond.
Are restomods still valuable?
The value of each classic is in the eye of the beholder. Someone looking for an all-original car won’t value a restomod the way someone who appreciates the interior work or the engine swap will. Some people prefer restomods precisely because of the modern conveniences. So yes — restomods are still valuable to the people who know and appreciate what a restomod is.
