I’m a Proud Dad!

Whoa!!! Talk about overload! I have so much to write this morning I don’t know where to start. Right off the top of my head I can tell you we finished phase one of a 1969 Camaro and are now onto phase 2. This car is really cool and the owners are really excited about turning this car into their dream car! Stephen and the guys are also working on two major horsepower projects that are expected to roll out of here very soon! One is a 1000 hp Viper and the other is an 800 hp Ford 5.0 Truck. To make it even better – they belong to the same owner! Wouldn’t you love to hang out in his garage for a day?!?
You may have seen in Katy Christian Magazine that we surprised Kendall by arranging for she and American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery to meet. And boy was she surprised!! They got to visit for quite a while before he went on stage at the Katy Crawfish Festival. But what do you think they talked about?? Their common faith in God and juggling careers and college; so proud of my girl. I also got a surprise this week when I was told to get ready for my magazine cover shoot as Father of the Year! Man am I nervous about what they are going to come up with at Absolutely Katy Magazine. What an honor!

Since the kids have started their racing seasons I thought I could go out and run a few laps myself. I took our new road course Mustang out to Motorsports Ranch in Alvin to shake it down, and boy did I ever! Despite getting hung up in the gravel pit it was a blast! I told the crew chief I had to test EVERY part of the car, even the tow hook. I haven’t had that much fun in a while and can’t wait to go back. We soon hit the road running again with Kristin’s sponsor appearances for No Label Brewing Co. She’s been busy with autograph sessions at HEB and the No Label Brewery. We are looking forward to trying out the new motor as well as a new setup this weekend. Last race we finished 2nd this week we’re hoping for a W.

Matthew 19:26
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
