What a busy past few weeks we have had! We finished our 1969 Roadrunner project on schedule and it made it to the West Houston Muscle car show this past Saturday. They had over 800 cars show up! We took the 18 wheeler along with 8 cars to show off what we do here at the shop. We had everything from a brand new 5.0 F-150 with a blower to a 1932 Ford Roadster with a LT1, that actually runs good and has lots of power.
Now that we have jumped the first hurdle of the year the next projects on the board are two 1969 Camaro’s we are putting LS3’s in, a 1963 Mini Cooper restoration, and a 1973 Duster restoration. I am excited about the new LS3 projects. Not every day do you see a 1969 Camaro with a late model engine in it. There is no-tellin’ what kind of horsepower these bad boys will put down! (We’ve got a pretty good idea though.) The Mini Cooper project is a beast all on it’s own. It is close to being complete – now to just find some brake lines for it!
Well I hear the boys yelling – I think I will go try out my painting skills on the Duster’s engine compartment. Oh ya, and make the Mini Cooper’s brake lines. This is one of those times we get to show off our skills by making the parts in house that we can’t find. Oughta’ be nice!
And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.
